It is important that all aspects of service delivery from the work of staff and volunteers, to the income and expenditure are monitored and evaluated effectively to ensure the smooth working of your group.
Collecting information and data about the services and activities you offer allows you to monitor and evaluate the work you do. Feedback from service users allows you to better understand the effectiveness of your services and can help you make decisions about how you deliver services in the future. Funders are becoming increasingly more interested for beneficiaries to demonstrate the effectiveness of services by asking you to measure outputs and explain how they contribute to outcomes and ultimately how your services have an impact on the end users.
