Support is available to help you ensure your group has the resources it needs from staff and volunteers to office space, for operating effectively.
Members of LIC can support your organisation with:
- Staff Recruitment - Advertise paid job vacancies on the Voluntary Action Leeds website
- Employment policies and procedures – support is available from PERS
- Payroll - help paying your staff VT Payroll provided by VAL trading
- Developing a Volunteer Programme - including help with the placement and recruitment of volunteers and ensuring that volunteers have maximum impact and benefit to your organisation, as well as meeting their own needs. Contact Volunteer Centre Leeds
- Finding venues – for office space, meetings or service delivery. Use the Leeds Community Accesspoint database hosted on the Leeds City Council website to search for organisations with meeting rooms and accommodation in Leeds.
